I am looking forward to seeing where you go with this. I do miss your LE content, but I sense there were some methodological and strategic differences of opinion. I do hope that this proves to be lucrative for you, but most of all that your audience doesn't shrink. You have good ideas, and an excellent voice for narration and you should have an audience that reflects that. I think, were the institution what it was 15 years ago, you would have been great on LBC.
Around the 4:30 mark, personally I would have added a 'creaking noise' when the secretary with the obese bulk placed his weight on table.
The effects of marching music on plants according to the research results amused me to no end, especially considering how the music was used until that point by the main character. Great method of showing how their society works and what certain groups will do to accomplish a goal, and that while Tan seems to believe he is a cut above the others, he is still a cog in the wheel.
But why do the Flurge hate the Rions? It seems a bit excessive to declare your hate so explicit in messages written in 'vein fluid' for a species you're wiping out without any initial resistence or contact, if we must believe that the Rions were not even familiar with the Flurge. Are we missing some information?
Also, and this is rather important, does the Flurge spy know he is a spy?

Childhood is wanting to live in Star wars or Star trek
Teenage is realizing 40k is more realistic
Adulthood is realizing New Orion is the MOST realistic
That was amazing, John! Thank you for yet another entertaining episode 😊!
Just use the cocker spaniel on Shrak (or whatever the Rion equivalent is...), works like a charm every time...
