This episode was just exquisite. Just Tan's luck to be rooming with the Rionite Rain Man; I love the way his description of his... eccentricities also gives us tantalizing hints about the everyday realities of life as Rionite. Time to dig up my thickest helmet in preparation for phase two of the command committee's plan!

I am a sucker for old sci-fi and cheesy horror [and body horror, I loved Carpenter's The Thing as a teenager], so it might just be me, but I am hoping the exploding brain cases and the imminet doom will return. It suits the radio play genre tremendously in my opinion.

Happy to hear the next instalment will be released this friday. Looking forward to it!

I finally got around to listening to this now. I'm going to add the word poltroon to my list of words to practice using to improve my own vocabulary and ultimately improve my own writing (been reading a Tale of Two Cities and it's really annoying when I don't want my laptop on because I'm about to sleep but Dickens, the swine, uses a word I either know but don't use much, or a word I've never heard before which I add to my growing list, but it's on my laptop which means I have to get up and scribble it down on something (like a delivery card or something). Anyway, enough about lists... even though the episode featured them heavily...

Look Tan, it could be worse; you could have a family with myriad ill-raised, mentally deficient children next door to you where not only do the little bastards (probably used in the correct context...) shriek and scream constantly, but the parents encourage them and scream like banshees anyway. Get some perspective, man! xD Escape to New Orion quickly turning into Red Dwarf. Was half-expecting Tan to say he was a vending machine repairman... xD
