Thank you for this post and the information. This was very helpful!
I am intrigued by the idea of an exhibition 😉. That could be so much fun. Will the artworks also be able to be offered for sale? That could potentially be lucrative for both you, Creative Liberty, and us, the artists.
I will send you an e-mail with a link to my work, as soon as my website is finished 😊!
- If you intend to publish the finished novel in print at some point, you should be aware that there may be consequences of having published part of it online previously.
- If the first chapter is too much of a 'work-in-progress', or doesn't seem sufficiently complete or stimulating by itself, we're less likely to publish it here.
So do think about it before sending, but essentially there's no problem ^^ In fact, it could be a good way to check whether your concept actually works with an audience.
Thank you. It is something I am considering but I do need to think it through a lot more first. If I emailled it regardless and even if it failed to be submitted, would I still get feedback? Because I find feedback very helpful.
Please only send something if you're 100% sure you're happy for me to publish it here.
The feedback I'll provide to submissions that I don't accept will be essentially "why we're not publishing this, so you can do X and Y better next time." This should be useful, but won't be detailed, whereas submissions that are published here will get a full detailed edit.

Question: Would I be able to submit the work-in-progress of a first chapter of a novel?
Yes, with a couple of provisos:
- If you intend to publish the finished novel in print at some point, you should be aware that there may be consequences of having published part of it online previously.
- If the first chapter is too much of a 'work-in-progress', or doesn't seem sufficiently complete or stimulating by itself, we're less likely to publish it here.

Noted. Thank you. :D
"Sneaky Hermit liked your comment" - Of course you did... :P I'll have you know I'd have asked this with or without your meddling! xD
John is going to be so confused by this. xD
Hi John, is it possible to submit poetry?
